The Agawam Recreation Department sponsors a competitive swim team for
children ages 6-18. In order to be on the team swimmers are required to
participate in swim meets.
Swimmers must be at least 6 years old by May 1st and able to swim one length of the pool as well as some other basic drills. Practice time varies based on swimmers age and ability. New swimmers do not need to register before tryouts.
New swimmers are welcome to try out for the team on Monday, April 29th at 6:00PM at the Agawam Junior High School.
Practice for all swimmers begins on Wednesday May 1st
Cost: All ages $160
All fees include a non-refundable championship meet entry fee.
Registration: Begins in person and online on Tuesday, April 2nd.
Online registration will be available through Thursday April 25th.
After April 25th in person registration will be available at practice and at Agawam Parks and Recreation department upon approval by coach Shawn.
